Thanks Angel.

It's no WIP, that's as far as I'm taking it. Much the same as the Famke pic I did a while back (see gallery). I'm just keeping it simple, concentrating just on the facial detail.

It's a pencil drawing scanned into the computer and colourised in Photoshop (with a tablet).

Thanks Heri.

Yeah, a combination of work, relatives and annoying Winter viruses, has kept me away from blogging. I'll be posting more stuff soon.

You've been churning them out over at your blog. Great stuff!

How exactly do you get such clean lines? Did you ink in Photoshop? How do you not see any of your rough/pencil marks?

I am in absolute awe of this stuff. I came over from Illustration Friday and was hugely inspired by your drawing videos. And then your gallery... good God! Your work is fantastic, I hope to be even half as good as you one day.

belinha- Thankyou, and thanks for linking to me. I'm glad the tutorials were of help.

toby- This particular piece is in pencil not ink. The reason you can't see the rough pencil marks is because all my rough lines are in light blue pencil which don't show when the pencils are scanned into the computer. I also touch up the drawing in Photoshop for added crispness.

tomcarroll- Unfortunately, since I'm in Australia I have no current plans to attend the San Diego Comic Con.

Once again, thankyou everyone for your comments. You keep me going.
